A group of young criminals try to get from Paris to Holland with the money from their last job. Yasemine, pregnant and freshly split up from the gang leader, and two more guys are our upcoming victims. The group has to split up early, to bring their last partner in crime to a hospital after he got shot by the cops. However, all 4 finally end up in a lonely motel near the Dutch border, with a strange acting nazi family as hosts.
All in all, this is likely the movie people actually watched, forgot the title, and called their review “Hostel”. I’m pretty sure this is the only reason why Hostel got any good reviews. There’s a motel, and unlike Hostel, here’s also real violence and disgusting torture, both physical and mental. I must admit that some victims really died too quickly and too easily (headshot, for example), while other scenes are simply nasty and well done.
Not the best movie I’ve ever seen, but still entertaining and worth to watch.
